Hi

Here's an article on the apache derby database
(http://db.apache.org/derby/) born ibm as cloudscape

"Apache Derby graduates with Sun onboard":
http://news.com.com/Apache+Derby+graduates+with+Sun+onboard/2100-7344_3-5818473.html?tag=nefd.top

It seems like Sun is wanting to use Derby as the DB engine for future
Java products. I just wanted to bring it up in case of there is any
change in tack from Sun management/engineer for the embedded java DB
that OOo has in v2.

With Thanks
Deepankar
