I think it's a great idea and I've already linked to it from SolidOffice.com. Making it into a group blog over time could be the best longterm strategy, and trying to keep it as comprehensive as possible will give it a great deal of significance and utility to the community. It can possible even become the center of the universe of OOo blogs that we were discussing on this list a few weeks ago...

Anyway, these are just ideas, but what you have right now is great and can definitely stand on its own!

Thanks,
Ben

Hi

I'm experimenting with using a blog for posting news about OOo. This is
a test at the moment, and I'm looking for feedback on this new system,
its pros, cons and any changes which could be made. Other questions
include:

*Is this better/worse than the current system?
*Could this allow newsletters to be more concise?
*Would this be easier for getting news more visible?

The only thing that I personally think is missing at the moment is
categories which cannot be done with Blogger.

You can find the blog here:

Any comments would be appreciated.

With Thanks
Deepankar
