We could definitely do with a standard backdrop for booths when OOo
people attend shows and conferences.

I've opened an issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54041

And put up a first suggestion.

Ok, let's get the artists to work. Don't ask me! I am to art what George
Bush is to use of the English language :-)

Heh, I was more thinking of you as a User of the art. Critiques welcomed.

I designed it like this because of the issues we have getting a Banner made up and going around the world.

For instance for the NEA conf, you could have printed this off and taken it in an A4 envelope. All you need then is a wall and some double sided tape or a staple-gun and a bit of time. One just has to use the "OpenOffice.org" text as the key and build the "puzzle" around that

I haven't uploaded the zip file of the 22 individual high res png images yet. The file is over three megs and on a dialup I have to pick my time. :)

I uploaded a banner idea for OOoConf using the same principle

http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/29190/OOoConf_Banner_small.jpg

and the zip file with the 28 images that make it up. Careful for people on dialup: 3.5 megs.

Now that I've worked out the system for creating them I'll create some different styles that make use of the fragmented look.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Cheers
Yo
