Hi all,
just one more thought:
The comments about Koper mention the fact, that people did join
lectures from different places in Koper wherever the presentations were.
What do you think about a combined OOoCon in Europe, Asia and America?
With the marvelous media work from Koper it should be possible to
follow the discussions form the other side of the world without time
delay.
People from all over the world could join OOoCon and meet (at least
virtually) instead of staying separate. I doubt that more than a few
people could afford time and money to travel around half of the
world, so personal meeting will not be reduced, but increased for
most of us.
If we could find conference places at twinned towns (for Hamburg I
know about Shanghai, Osaka and Chicago, for instance), there would
be general interest among city officials, I assume.
This would be a great opportunity for the fifth anniversary of OOo -
coming together from all over the world, not excluding people from
other continents.
... just my two cents...
Best regards
Bernhard
