I would like to thank some of the people involved in the OpenOffice.org
MiniConf that was before LCA 2006.

Jonathon Coombes
The only person who submitted an abstract. Delivered his material in a
professional manner and obviously knew what he was talking about. By
request ran a session similar to one he ran last year but with updated
comments etc - I found it useful.

Jim Watson
Kept me company for the three hours while we waited for the computers to
arrive. Like Jonathon ran his sessions in a professional manner and
obviously knew his material.

Jacqueline McNally
In spite of having been sick since the last conference, and the, to me,
ridiculous attacks that she has received on these mailing lists, she
managed to pull us together and work positively. The chocolate penguins
were much appreciated.

And of course to the people who dropped in and asked useful questions
and partook in the discussions.

My recommendations for anyone contemplating anything similar:
* When someone volunteers equipment make sure that the equipment has
been tested and that it runs at an acceptable speed.
* Do not take a person's word that they are knowledgeable in an area, be
sure that they are based on what they have given to the community.
* Do not be afraid of stopping someone from rambling off topic and in an
inappropriate manner.

Thanks, Ian
