Can anyone explain why when I was posting on marketing, I was asked to post on discuss, and now on yet another list.
Discuss@ was not necessary, as it was said not to be a discuss topic but a marketing one.
I do not know why. Is this not the list that has the line next to it: please subscribe to or read this list before subscribing to any others? Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought this is the main marketing list.
We have very few time to read the lists as we have a lot of work to do else where (I speak for devs and NLC communities) in the projects. So lists that are topic focused are really a great help for us. Most of the NLC leads are not subscribed to the MP list because of the traffic that have no interest for us. But we need to communicate hence the [EMAIL PROTECTED] and the [EMAIL PROTECTED] The same is for PR where help is needed each time as there is very few participants of this list on it, same for newsletter, proddev, and so on.
IMHO there are to many lists :) far to many.
Please, before saying this, there is a lot of things you have to discover about the OOo project and I'm answering you to help you here, provided I'm not attacked at each word.
When you'll have an overall vision, you will be able to change for good what is wrong in our project, and it will be very great to have your help. But before, ask all the questions as you're doing currently, but don't judge at the first sight. We are trying our best and we may have failed on some parts. But seeing OOo success all over the countries, I think that all who are deeply invested in the projects, have done a really good work.
