Hello Chris,

Yes of course, please go ahead and install OpenOffice 2 on your PCs. You do not need an additional license. OpenOffice is open source software, distributed under the Lesser General Public License:

http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lesser.html

This license allows you to install OpenOffice in as many computers as you like, and sell those computers to your customers. You are welcome and encourage to install OpenOffice on the computers you sell.

Best,
Daniel.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please let me introduce myself before I start, My name is Chris J Verbiest
of Verbo Computers Ltd, we are a small company that like to give a personal
level of computing service and support to many small companies and home
users. Please see our profiles @ http://www.verbo.co.uk/profile.htm,

We have also been building PCs since 1996 with great success, I have been
advising our customers since star office was out to use your products. What
we would like to ask if it would be OK. if we could pre install your "Open
Office 2" package on all our PC's before we sell them to our customers
rather than giving our customers the you web site link, we find most of
them don't bother downloading it and then installing another companies
product.

Please can you let us know if there is a Licence we would need to purchase
from yourselves or whether this would be ok to pre-install as we would like
to promote you product and any others you Write,

Yours sincerely

Chris
