Hi, John (and the list, if it's open enough to take my mail),

I gather there's some discontent over my posting of the "Get Legal"
campaign work. My apologies if I have upset people, such was not my
intent. I have pulled the article off of the LWN front page for now.

That said, a couple of other points:

 - If you don't want stuff publicized, a little note on the web page
saying "this is a draft, please don't link" will go a long way.
   We respect notices like that.

 - I must admit to being mystified by talk of LWN "wrecking" this
campaign. How could that be? LWN readers are people who are
interested in what's brewing in the free software community.
Honestly, I don't see much difference between posting an article on a
cool OOo feature in the works and an interesting OOo marketing
campaign in the works. Why hide what you are working on and deal
with the community via press releases?

I'd like to ask your permission to put the article back up, but won't do
so in the face of your opposition. Good luck with the campaign in any
case - I do like the approach.

jon
