Excellent idea.
The OOoAuthors Migration Guide is available in PDF through the
manuals page at the Documentation Project; does that fit into
"static HTML pages" as you said were preferred? I'm not certain of
the terminology here.
Initially a wiki that links to these documents; they need not be
moved anywhere, I just want us all to be able to answer the
frequently asked question, Do you have migration information
available? with an emphatic, Yes!--and then point to all we have.
Right now, I can point to a scatter of various documents, some in
English, some in Spanish, some in French....
The guide has not yet been fully indexed. I hope to get that done
by the end of next week. If no one else adds it to the forthcoming
wiki page on migration, I will do so then... assuming that a link
to a Docs page is okay.
Louis, I'm sorry I haven't posted this note to the other list as
you requested. I'm travelling and unable to subscribe just to post
a note. If someone reading this note would like to forward it to
the other list, I'd be grateful.
Is okay; the point is to consolidate *all* material and to use the
wiki for now and then use a more robust page.
I have not created the wiki yet.... but if I don't, please, it ought
not depend on me.
Best
Louis
