Following a few links from that page, i end up on those two pages:
http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/?p=120
http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/?p=119

Especially about the latter: If i run Writer, Calc and Impress of OOo
2.0.2 at the same time, soffice.bin and soffice.exe take up about 32 MB
in taskmanager (in sum for all three applications!). This pretty much
confirms SUNs explanation that most of that memory is taken up by shared
data.

Now i wonder if the (below 10 MB) values for Word, Excel and PowerPoint
would be shared data as well or if they would add up to each other when
you run them at the same time. I do not have MS Office here, but perhaps
someone has and could please try that?

André.
