Hello,
My name is Joy Snell, and I am a pathologist in solo practice in Lawton, OK,
USA. I have my own independent practice and so I am also a small business
owner. I will definitely let my collegues know about the OpenOffice.org suite
of programs.
I am also the mother of three and president of their PTA. Because students
often need software to complete assignments at home, and school systems are
often underfunded, I was interested in joining the marketing project of OOo to
introduce my school system and the students to the open system alternative. It
provides a way to teach our youth that you don't have to violate copyrights to
get the tools needed to succeed in their academic endeavors, and perhaps some
of the young talent will be uncovered for the development projects.

look forward to making a small contribution to this project my spreading the
word in my community.
