The PDF support in OpenOffice.org was developed independently of
Adobe, using the stable and de-facto standard part of the publicly-
available PDF specifications. I hope Adobe will choose to recognise
the benefits of supporting the open, standard formats documented in
ISO 26300 OpenDocument, but as you observe so far they have not
implemented this in their own products.
