you dont need to open an account in paypal to make a paypal donation.
Please read carefully, Paypal might suggest it but if you dont read
carefully you might have taken as that.
there was a different donation service provided for some openoffice.org
projects like the advertising in the NYC Metro at
http://www.fundable.org/groupactions/openofficeads
however this project was concluded, I am not sure if there is an
OpenOffice.org account here.
