Kami,

thank you for this detailed explanation. Now I think we can can move
forward. Here's a couple of questions I'm thinking as possible ways to
work that out. We should agree, as the wiki page explains it, that more
content such as templates and cliparts are important for the OOo users
(Marketing Project, please confirm here). If we agree on this, then:

-did you Kami, already contact the relevant developers (kendy, for
instance) about this topic? If not, what could we do about this?
Not with kendy, but with Petr. I will send my ideas to him. Of course I posted some screens about competitors.
- the list shows that some stuff could already be bundled: do we have to
select from this material or should we design a page on OOo that could
serve as a treshold for this (ideally, the Art team should be up to this
task, but we may want to have something
I like all of them. Petr wants to create a page that can hold these contents - user comments, vote, etc. I
would glad If this place were at OOo
likewww.openoffice.org/templatesandstuff) for the end users.
-materials that are deemed incompatible: can we contact their authors?
Can they change their mind? What could we do ourselves?
Yes you can I tried, but you can also try. I can send contacts for Ray Larabie and Cisco to. Templatezone question is more sad. I cannot reach anybody. I tried the TZ site, I ask for help via Webform. Sent mail to SUN. Also contacted to Alex, Scott Scarr, etc. No one can help me... I spent so many time to resolve these issues. Larabie and Cisco thing is not so wrong, because endusres can use without limitation. They usually want to use, not alter at all...
How can we use DLL from Microsoft? Can we change it? ;o)

-should we encourage (NLC topic here) the native-lang projects to design
their own set of templates and artwork?
It is a great idea. We have lot of Hungarian stuffs of course they upped to hu.oo.o...
Thank you again for putting everything "on the table",
Charles.
Not at all!

Regards,
KAMI

Welcome to the list! Well, as you know the content you included is
licensed under a different license than the one of OOo (LGPL).
Maybe -for the sake of clarity- could you just write here what exactly
you include inside OOo premium so that we can have a clear idea of what
licenses are at stake and how we could work that out?
My source is:
OOo Distribution (questionable templates (templatezone) come from here
- on 2.0.1 Extras [CD2])
oooextras
PrOOoBOX (cliparts, templates, pictures that i converted to vector gfx)
Larabie fonts (do not modify, but freely use license)
Other fonts with LGPL license
Cisco iconset (questionable cliparts: do not modify, but freely use
license)
Gallery from fr.openoffice.org (maps, etc)
Documents from oo.o and hu.oo.o (OOo compatible license)
Gallery from IssuZilla
Problematic things submited here:
