Hello William,
Thanks for writing this. A good idea to make the idea work for
OpenOffice.org documents as well.
However, for user and technical support, I would advise you two other
lists: [email protected] and [email protected]
For both you can subscribe, so that answers will get to you
automatically: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
When writing to those lists, it might help if you be a bit more precise
in your question and troubles achiveing your goal. (Anyway I have some
difficulty in understanding, but that might be because English is not my
native language.)
Succes & kindest regards,
Cor
(I've send a cc to you, because you are not subcribed to the mailing
list; Please mail to the list only.
To subscribe, mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] )

Hello,
My name is William Lang - i'm currently trying to open a Fan Fiction
website. One of the main issues i'm having is parsing Microsoft Word and
Open Office documents.
Coming to OpenOffice.org I realized this was right up your alley. I've
tried several programs that either don't do a good enough job, or simply
don't work with Linux web servers.
The website is http://www.firewhiskey.net and i'm currently programming
in PHP with MySQL databases.
Would it be possible that you could give me any assistance? It would be
beneficial both to my users having the ability to upload their stories
with more file types and Open office formats will be supported by the
website.
Regards,
William Lang
