We are working on developing an association for Open Document Users. The main
discussion about this is in several threads on 8daysaweek.co.uk

This string is a small part of the thing. Most of the discussion is taking
place within a private forum there. It started in the
http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=54409 string on ooofurum.com
based on a concern that the forum might disappear because the current owner of
that forum appears un-interested in the forum.
My thinking is that this can easily start developing the qualified experts we
already have and including students who are looking for certifications to add
confidence to their job-hunting.
Would you be interested in being part of (as in membership or funding) or
helping with the PR for this new thing? It will be a way to garner much PR for
open office.org by providing a 3rd-party organization that is recommending
OO.org
