I created the list for those of us who are actually dealing with trademark issues. It's not a general discussion list open to all and it is not meant to replace lists such as this one, where we can also discuss trademark generally. It is meant only to go over topics which must be kept private.
Since you are familiar, Charles, with much of the NLC, your contributions would be worthwhile. However, I really don't want that list to gain undue importance or to replace existing lists. It's only function, again, is to discuss things that cannot be disclosed publicly.
Alex I subscribed for the obvious reason: he's a lawyer and familiar with these issues, though not an expert, I believe.
