I checked with the team that run the Java Updater and they say the
OO.o promo has now been run for two months and has been seen by a
large number of people. They tell me it's being "rested" for a while
to avoid over-familiarity. A new promo is being prepared that will be
tuned based on the feedback received so that it gets an even better
response. No changing of minds, just a desire to be as effective as
possible.
