Following on from Florian's OOo Marketing Blog, I've been looking for a
way to aggregate postings from this new blog with feeds from other MP
people's existing blogs. I've run a test of what this might look like:
http://website.openoffice.org/tryouts/jpmcc/planet
If you are a blogger and you blog regularly on OOo MP topics in English,
I would be happy to add you to this Planet. What you need to do is:
- create a special category/label for posts you would like included
- use this category/label to tag posts on your blog
- send me a feed URL for just these postings
For example, Leif uses Blogger for his blog, and he tags his OOo posts
with the label 'OpenOffice.org'. His feed URL is:
http://lodahl.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default/-/OpenOffice.org
This means the Planet will ignore any postings you write on other
subjects or in other languages.
If people think this is useful, I'll develop this into an automatic
process with daily updates from your blogs - say at 0400 UTC?
