I know that StarOffice signed with DISA back in 2001

but no idea if it's expanded beyond that, or would include OOo.

I had a very interesting conversation with a chap I met at my son's party. He was from the "Royal Signals Corp", part of the British Army, at the weekend.

In "the field" they use OpenOffice exclusively. Back at home, they still use Microsoft...

I don't think he made the comment in any official capacity so I don't think it is a "policy statement" but I found it interesting nevertheless.
