What do you get when all Federal offices standardize on OpenOffice?
The effect of this is a second economic stimulus check. You get
increased productivity at lower cost. Scratch that. You get increased
productivity at no-cost.
Is this important enough to make the OOo homepage react to this news?
I thought the author makes a bold statement without references and
simplifies the process. A search of barackobama.com yields nothing to
support this claim. Also, I didn't see the connection a stimulus check.
A stimulus check puts money into consumers, who buy from businesses, who
hire more workers, but this alleged Obama-OpenOffice.org plan has no
check and OpenOffice.org would mean spending less, not more.
