We are all volunteers, so when you say you are writing to the web site
this isn't very clear. Can you write to a mail list (but not this one,
since it's for marketing)? When you say that nothing works, does it mean
that your macbook has stopped working since you installed openoffice?
Can you supply references for the others who are apparently being
ignored? I'm interested. Being a user of this software for ten years
(staroffice 4) I'm betting that not enough information was supplied for
someone to help you. With open source projects, you sometimes get
ignored if there's not even enough information to start diagnosing, and
those who have supplied more information get responded to immediately.
Now you want me to go to Beijing.
No-one wants you to go to Beijing Bill. The email you are responding to
starts at "Dear OOoCon attendees", so was not intended for you as you
are not a member of that group.
I seem to have fallen into a pit of vipers so, if you don't mind,
the less I see of you or anything to do with OOo, the better I'll be.
Seems OOo can't even keep username billeger and password egerbill
in their computer memory,
OpenOffice.org does not require a password to work. Is this something to
do with your own computer? The Internet browser you use? If it's your
OpenOffice username and password it's probably not a good idea to email
this to a list of thousands of people.
My guess is your organization is on the brink of some major
legal problems
Can you tell me where you got this information? Who is preparing this?

No-one is attacking you, Bill. Not that this is a forum, but you need to
describe a problem before anyone can help you with it. You are being
sent the marketing emails because you subscribed to the list. All you
need to do is to unsubscribe and you will not receive any more email.
The unsubscribe instrictions appear at the bottom of every email on this
list, thusly:
