Thank you,
Ok, Global realities..,
We should probably list them so that we know what we're up against. I don't
know if there's already a list that's been created but I'm thinking; we can
list everything we can think of and from that, prioritize them as points of
focus.
Please let me know what you think...
Here are a few in order of highest value as I see it:
Communication
Education
Economy
Energy
Time
All of which can be classified as Global Problems that are shared by all. I
believe that while there are certainly others that could be listed, these are a
good place to start and further if we break these categories into types or
sub-categories that make them up we could use them to create marketing
strategies that will make people more aware that open technology exists, that
it is powerful and show them how it can be harnessed to help them with everyday
needs and all the while, remind them that it is free.
Here are some sub-categories that are common in all:
Family
Business
Personal
This is what this basic model would look like:
Communication
Family
Business
Personal
Education
Family
Business
Personal
Economy
Family
Business
Personal
Energy
Family
Business
Personal
Time
Family
Business
Personal
Do you agree that this is a good place to start or would you like to focus some
specific things?
Tim

Althought I do think that campaigning that OOo is free is useful. We
kind of been doing that all the way. What we haven't done is built a
link with the present global reality.
