Dear All, Greetings from balmy Hyderabad! I have just become a new member of the OpenOffice marketing community and look forward to being able to make a contribution to its spread in India and S.Asia.
I have been using OO personally for sometime now and am delighted to say that my workplace is also transitioning to OO now. My background is in social entrepreneurship development and strategy, so maybe I will have some contribution to make that brings in some experience from work. In another note, two days back, the Indian Government released a scheme for the promotion of education through Information & Communciation Technologies. It's worth nearly USD 1 Billion and is the biggest scheme in this area that I've heard of so far.
