I found some time to get myself informed about the CC licenses. I have
one issue with the 'Atrribution-ShareAlike license'. It also allows, to
alter and transform the videos. OK, it might be even desirable, if the
videos are used to cut extracts for bulletins and reports. But there's
also the risk, that the people on the video find themselves in a
context, that they do not want to find themselves in. Hence, I tend to
prefer 'Attribution - No Derivative Works'. What do others think?

In case, we want to prevent unwanted commercial use, we should even
consider the 'Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works' license.
That would allow anyone to copy, distribute and transmit the work. This
seems to be a reasonable as it provides basic rights, that everyone
should have. If someone wants to use the videos beyond this, it could be
decided case-by-case. As owner I would suggest the 'OOoCon 2008
organizational team' with me as the person to exercise the ownership.

Best regards,
Peter
