- forgive my strange words happening sometime, as a french, I do my best ;)
A year ago, with the french doc list, I started to work on the OOo
french enterprise brochure.
Since this time, it has been translated in english and spanish.
Now, we are working on the education brochure, so we’ll soon have more
files to share.
Actually, all these files are donwloadable from different places and are
not very well organized :
french and spanish :

I think that’s not the best way to work, so I propose to place all the
files in just one place, on the same page, i.e. :
http://marketing.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList , in
directory called « Brochures »
Two kind of files would be there :
1) FOR THE WRITERS
We could have a single file, OOo-brochures-sources.zip, containing all
the source files (odt, png, svm, fonts, etc.) for the differents
language-versions and the three kind of documents (enterprise, education
and family). But no pdf there.
2) FOR THE USERS
On the same download page, we could have all the pdf files not
compressed (no zip) and downloadable one by one (a link for a file). i.e. :
OOo-brochure-ent-fr.pdf
OOo-brochure-ent-en.pdf
OOo-brochure-ent-es.pdf
OOo-brochure-edu-fr.pdf
…
Note that the version doesn’t figure in the filenames, so we (or other
peapole for their websites) could create hyperlinks from any webpage to
these files and be sure that theses links will never be broken, even
when we update these files (after corrections, etc.).
In example, on this french OOo page :
http://fr.openoffice.org/about-information.html you can click on the
brochure (but if today I update the brochure, this link is not the one
that leads to the last version).
