Live.com is ARSE

I did extensive keyword searching: "office suite", "free productivity suite" and many other words, the positioning for Openoffice.org is almost non existent. I do remember doing searches about a year ago and the results
where much better.

If there was a conspiracy theory, perhaps this news has something to do
with it: MS Live to merge with MS Office Live

Coonspiracy? or just a rubbish search engine?
Results change dramatically if you change the search term: for
instance, openoffice and openoffice.org give completely different
results. I think that it's just a rubbish search engine.

It may be confused because the latter looks like a domain name. I get
different results for microsoft vs microsoft.com too. Anyone click

I'm afraid I haven't credited all the input from this list.

I've seen the same results with Firefox one year ago (but it must have changed since that time). Typing FireFox in Live.com would display results about the firefox, a fox living under cold latitudes. That being said, live.com is not the best search engine and is notoriously inaccurate, so perhaps there is a conspiracy, but one of bad quality combined with bad will?

Best,
Charles.
