thank you very much for your nice introduction, and welcome to the OpenOffice.org Marketing Project - glad to have you on board!
Marketing OpenOffice.org has always been something that interested me - I enjoy that side of things! One thing I would be interested in doing is starting a regular newsletter with news on OpenOffice.org for the public to read - I haven't seen one yet. I think it could be either monthly or quarterly, but I would welcome your ideas!
Do you know the OpenOffice.org newsletter that is compiled by Kay Koll from Sun and sent out monthly? It's archived at http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/BrowseList?listName=announce&from=&to=&count=386&by=&first=1&windowSize=1000 and now also available in a HTML format. Kay welcomes every contribution to the articles.
I also want to help in other areas of marketing such as creating brochures and things.
That would be fantastic! In the next year, we will be celebrating our 10th birthday, and a little graphical enhancement on our current marketing collaterals could be needed.
