Hello Reflecting on the recent discussions about OOo budget allocations, accessing these funds, and pursuing gateways such as Twonate, I am writing to introduce GoPC's Affiliate Programme to see if this is another way for the OOo Community to raise additional funds.
GoPC's Affiliate Programme is currently being finalised, but the gist is that it would enable the OOo Community to earn 20% recurring commissions from products purchased by people referred to GoPC.net. OpenOffice.org forms part of the GoPC.net 'cloud desktop' and we recognise that affiliates that use the software applications are our best advocates and the most successful. Any referrals via the OpenOffice.org Community affiliate link would be tracked and the commissions paid to the Team OpenOffice.org, e.V. via PayPal account. I'm hoping that the GoPC Affiliate Programme pages will be published soon, but I'm happy to provide further information in the meantime if the idea is considered to be of interest.
