Hi Kiuma,

It's great to see you have interest in working in the branding project! As some others wrote here, the right list for this is [email protected] Right now we are working on the basic branding guidelines and once they are defined there will be a lot to paint :-) So you are very welcome to contribute to the branding project. The logo shouldn't be modify, but there are so many places where we need your creative help. So take a look at the branding wiki <http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Branding_Initiative>and join us!

Regards,
Rosana

Yes I think I've to work on it a bit more, for example on text two curves
are enough.

Then I also have to be more careful about the anti-aliasing effect on
letters cut by the curve, it shows an undesired effect when there is too
much contrast.

This is only a prototype, I'll do it better the day after tomorrow (tomorrow
I'll be out of ... country).

I like it. It gives it a little more flare than the current logo. The
only
downside I noticed, and maybe it is just me, but the wave going through the
logo causes the letters in "Open" to appear slightly crooked (especially
the
n). Again, it might just be me. Maybe the wave could be altered slightly
to work around this effect of the mind? Still, it is very minor. I would
prefer it over the current logo.

Hello list,
today has been a very annoying one (just did some stupid query on a db
and
nothing else), so I decided to paint a bit :)

Since before I was playing with UNO components development, I've chosen
to
work on OpenOffice logo and I've produced the following one starting from
the original.

Any suggestion is welcome, feel free to use it (or not :) ), as you wish.

Cheers,
kiuma
