This is not a problem, just use GTK-RecordMyDesktop on Linux, there
are many tutorials up on ShowMeDo.

However I was thinking more of a Slidecast (from slideshare) you just
upload your presentation, and a recording of your talk, and then you
can mix it on the webpage so the slides changes through the timeline
of your talk, you can see an example of one I did here:

A different idea is a mix of screencast combined with traditional
video, something like what the Linux Journal guys do:

Well flash makes for good webapplications, and also onlne streaming,
alternatives like Mov, RealVideo, WMV or even html5 theora are still
not mature enough.
