Thank you for the warm welcome on the OpenOffice list. You will be pleased to learn that I have been responsible for promoting Ubuntu Linux and LPI in Pakistan as well as various other open source suites. Most notably, one of our campaigns trained over 10,000 people on FOSS while distributing free CDs.
As a professional web designer and developer I have designed and developed hundreds of web projects. On the side of Visual Communications Design, I have managed marketing, product design (software and hardware) branding and campaign collateral. I am a regular blogger, tech writer, documentation writer and all that which has to do with communications. When we launched Ubuntu Linux in Pakistan we prepared local language manuals, CD designs, covers, co-branded certifications, seminars, talks etc. Yeah lots of stuff. So now bringing all that to OpenOffice! We were earlier loading Ubuntu and shipping OpenOffice with our low-cost laptop machines on Ink-Media by Ink-Media Inc and Gerry Morgan Foundation, Canada: http://www.ink-media.com and you can read the software specs there. GMF's website is at http://www.gerrymorganfoundation.org. We can do some campaigns we can design like Get Firefox to Get OpenOffice etc. There is a lot to do and I am more than willing to do it!
