launched their newsroom service it was much easier to use theirs (one
less site to maintain). They let us use the service free of charge.

PR Web is probably useful to continue if it is cost effective. That is to say, if it helps get our press releases out to the handful of news services still operating these days.

Keeping our own copy, in addition to any useful service we may take the advantage of, may just be the cost of doing business. That way we still have a copy later when the marketing service is gone, also that way we have something to draw Google and Cuil to our site.
