Hi Liz,*

(great to read you here :-) )

Hi Florian, Hi All,

The question I have is what kind of frisbee: fabric with wire in rim, plastic
disc, plastic/rubber ring (flat like the ring of saturn)... I think the most
impt thing is that they be light weight and compact size to transport. Then they
are a big improvement over heavy t-shirts and any other give-aways marketing
folks otherwise have to drag around or in Florian's case, carry on their backs.
;-)

Even if the idea of a foldable ring instead of a fixed sized disc is striking, it loses the advantage of the similarity between the disc and the OOo symbol ("gull orb").

Reaching both goals would be possible with the foldable flexi-flyers (like those: http://www.inkhead.com/ui/imageInc/imageByID.asp?prodimgid=9508&imgquality=100&width=475), but my feeling (it's nothing more than a feeling) tells me, that they are considered minor quality to "real" plastic Frisbees.

A Frisbee in my eyes is a piece of sports equipment, not only a toy.

Another point is that the phrase "Freedom Frisbee" can't be used for any other article than a real Frisbee.

Just my personal thoughts...

Best regards

Bernhard

PS: My mail client (SeaMonkey) tells me to capitalize "Frisbee". Does anybody know if there is a word mark on the name? This would become problematic if we promote "Freedom Frisbees"...
