Hi everybody,

yesterday Google finally made public the list of projects accepted for this
year [1]; and the list includes the two proposals we got submitted:

* RDF HDT implementation for Sesame RIO [2] (MARMOTTA-593 [3]), by Junyue
Wang, mentored by Peter

* Proposal to Implement GeoSPARQL in Marmotta (MARMOTTA-584 [5]),
by Xavier_Zumba, mentored by myself

Congratulations to both students!

Now according the timeline [6] we have a period of four weeks, known as
Community Bonding.Period [7], where students get to know mentors, get
familiar with the marmotta code base, read documentation, get up to speed
to begin working on their projects. So I'd like to invite both of you to
start discussing your projects in this mailing list.

Another aspect I'd like to start discussing in the methodology to follow. I
wrote down in the wiki what I used last year [8], and I plan to follow
something similar this year too. Although each mentor is free to work as he
prefers, feedback is always welcomed.

Cheers,
