Hello Sergio,

Unfortunately the OverLOD Surfer project is finished since a while now,
so I no more have time to work on it.
Of course if someone would like to do something with the modules, I am
ready to help.

I am happy that you see some interest in the features we did implement,
as I had some talks with you before, during, and when finalizing the
project and I always felt that you didn't see an interest at that time.
Maybe it was just my wrong feeling, sorry about that.

About patches to Marmotta itself, there is one that you did already
implement in Marmotta when we talked about it, and the remaining one is
just a slight modification of data import to allow importing triples
where the subject do not correspond to the given URL (we also talked
about it a while back) -> this was needed as OverLOD surfer do not only
import LOD data (where the resource URL is the subject of the triples),
but also an RDF file for instance where all triples don't necessarily
have the same resource (URL) as subject .

Even though our project is over, I still follow with interest the
discussion of this list and Marmotta's future, hence my idea last week
to send a little note about our work.

Thank you
Fabian

Good to hear your project is achiving results! The demo at
https://youtu.be/0_TMcmXyNOc showcases some cool stuff.

For instance, the SPARQL-based filtering and the SPIN-based validation
look
both very interested. Do you have any plan to contribute that
upstream?

A quick look to
https://github.com/apache/marmotta/compare/develop...FabianCretton:dev-overLOD
reveals quite some patches in different aspects of Marmotta that may
be
interesting.

Thanks.
