FYI ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Jeen Broekstra <[email protected]> Date: 2 May 2016 at 12:27 Subject: [sesame-devel] Sesame 4.1.2 and 2.9.0 released To: [email protected], [email protected] Cc: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>
We have just completed two parallel new releases of Sesame: 4.1.2, and 2.9.0. Sesame 4.1.2 is a patch release for Sesame 4, the latest stable release of Sesame, and the recommended version of Sesame for any new project. This patch fixes 14 issues, including several improvements in SPIN support, CORS support, and other improvements. See the Sesame 4 Changelog (http://rdf4j.org/doc/4/changelog ) for details. Sesame 2.9.0 is a minor release for Sesame 2, which fixes 19 issues. It upgrades Sesame 2 to require Java 7, and has a back port of the (beta) SPIN reasoning support first introduced in Sesame 4.1. This release is primarily intended for those projects which can not yet upgrade to Java 8. See the Sesame 2 Changelog (http://rdf4j.org/doc/2/changelog )for details. With these two releases, we mark the end of an era: barring anything unforeseen, these will be the last releases using the name Sesame. We are now fully focused on finalizing the transition to Eclipse, and will soon be announcing the first milestone release of Eclipse RDF4J.
