That's fine-- I am tackling a form of MARMOTTA-88, and I'm not going to do that
without Java 8. So in my MARMOTTA-88 branch, I have bumped the compiler
settings locally (just for my module) to 1.8. Shall I let the PR for this (660)
hang there until a release it made. It seems like one has been in planning for
quite some time without much progress...
