As far as I understood [1], Confluence was an option for a project's
website, not for the wiki.
The idea is to edit pages in confluence and then have a static export of
the pages to be served. But anyway, confluence is not supported any
more, its phasing out. [2]

For the wiki I'd prefer moinmoin.
