One suggestion, most of the time users come to the website and they want to
find downloads or mailing list subscribe addresses, etc. It would be nice
if those quick links are directly available from the landing page without
having to traverse to Reports --> Project Information --> Mailing Lists.

But I agree with you, so I'd try to find place to link it from the from
page.
