Key: MAVEN-635
Summary: (HEAD) Can't compile any java classes for source 1.4
Type: Bug
Status: Unassigned
Priority: Blocker
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: maven
Components:
plugin-java
Fix Fors:
1.0-rc1
Versions:
1.0-rc1

Reporter: Willie Vu

Description:
I used to set maven.compile.source, maven.compile.target in project.properties that
allow 1.4 java classes to be compiled. The latest CVS HEAD is broken now. The target
is always set to 1.1
Look at java plugin's project.properties, there are new properties introduced:
compileTarget = 1.1
compileDebug = on
compileOptimize = off
compileDeprecation = off
How can the target be overridden?
