Well, I don't know. After adding xerces and xml-apis to the
project.xml of the mentioned plugins I was able to bootstrap with
1.3.1. Before that, they would bomb out in the tests of the mentioned
plugins (aha!) every time.
I wouldn't write this here if I haven't experienced that.
I've seen your mail about being able to bootstrap with JDK 1.3.1 on
WinXP. Are you sure that you didn't have e.g. the ant libraries on
your classpath? Did you run all the plugin tests?
I can send you the error messages if you're interested.
