For 1/, yes, there is already the multiproject plugin and the reactor.
Are we saying we want to deprecate the reactor and promote using the
multiproject plugin. Isn't that a bit too "heavy". Unless the
multiproject offers additional features of course (I have to admit I
haven't looked too far in its plugin.jelly).
It is not like multiproject makes usage of reactor deprecated.
It's like it trys to centralize the information about "subprojects" and uniform reactor based builds
"Multi" plugins are quite fresh and even if you will try to do something on your own
without looking at multiproject plugin can have some benefits - maybe you will find better patterns the we did ;)
But it will be nice to merge some code in the end.
