In the maven's 1.0 CVS branch, maven.mode.online is missing from both the defaults.properties and the driver.properties...this leads to the eventuality that one cannot build maven onto a clean filesystem without creating a ~/build.properties containing maven.mode.online=true.
Is this the correct state of affairs?
