Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MPCASTOR-2
    Summary: Support for castorbuilder.properties file
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Major

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven-castor-plugin

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Tim Anderson

    Updated: Mon, 29 Dec 2003 7:04 PM

Description:
The castor plugin doesn't provide support to enable castor to locate a customized
castorbuilder.properties file. This file enables the mapping of namespaces for
imported schemas to java packages (amongst other things). See
http://castor.exolab.org/SourceGeneratorUser.pdf for details.
It's directory must be in the classpath in order for castor to locate it.

The attached patch:
. allows the directory containing castorbuilder.properties to be specified via the
property 'maven.castor.properties.dir'
. updates the castor jar dependency from 0.9.4.3 to 0.9.5
