Hi Karl-Heinz, I have done my changes, but unfortunate I had some issues with committing these directly to the apache git host (credentials… and its getting quite latte here...) So I opened a PR https://github.com/apache/maven-scm/pull/16 I hope you don’t mind taking this one in for me. Many thanks for your help!
