Olivier,
Can you explain why you need this? I had to fix ant build twice
in last few days, so I'd like to avoid this in the future if at all
possible.

Seems odd we need to maintain both maven and ant builds for maven core.
I am quite certain maven is mature enough to bootstrap itself without
problems.
