Don't know if you did anything, but now I can access the applications :-) Thanks :-)

Chris - have you tried to see if Nick has already granted you karma to be a judge? All you have to do is go to https://tac-apply.apache.org/ - top right you will see "judging", click on that. If it doesn't pull up, you do not have access yet. Apache Travel Assistance - Home<https://tac-apply.apache.org/> tac-apply.apache.org The Travel Assistance Committee is taking in applications for those wanting to attend ApacheCon NA 2016 Vancouver between May 9, 2016 and May ... But wait.....at this stage of the process, if he doesn't have judge rights, he shouldn't be able to even open up the applications to read them, correct? So, Chris, that's another way to determine if you have judge rights yet or not...if you can't open any of the applications, you do not have the rights yet. Either way, first step is to get or determine judge rights for Chris...and then you guys should have a quick talk about the judging process so he knows the process. Keep your pants on and your kilts down (and not blowing up in the wind!!)!! ;) Oh, and have a wonderful weekend!! ~M ________________________________ From: Lewis John Mcgibbney <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Cc: Melissa Warnkin <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 29, 2016 11:50 AM Subject: Re: ACNA Vancouver 2016 They are called Kilts I'll have you know ;) In all honesty, the net month is pretty quiet. I will get reminders sent out tomorrow to committers@ and pmcs@. We can also get press@ to send a reminder. On top of that, the only thing we can do is to get you set up for judging incoming applications. The process is pretty straightforward and we will discuss here if you have any issues. Hpefully Nick can get you set up with judging karma. Thanks Chris. Yes, we definitely need to re-engage....the list has been too quiet for my liking! :) Like I said previously, I don't want us to get caught with our pants down....we need to be proactively staying on top of things. Thanks, bud!! ~M ________________________________ From: Lewis John Mcgibbney <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> To: "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>; Melissa Warnkin <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Sent: Thursday, January 28, 2016 3:20 PM Subject: Re: ACNA Vancouver 2016 Hi Missy, I think we all need to reengage. I'll have a pop at updating everything to the best of my ability. Once this is done then I will write to the list with the intent of getting a bit of organization back into the process. Thanks for bringing this back up. After slight pressure from Nick, I have created a spreadsheet with a timeline. Link is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uE8F9e2SX3CnYSCf4yyN3aSqlwtLlxOG_wYaeaZIDlg/edit?usp=sharing It seems to work out quite well, flights as usual are a bit short (just under 60 days). How do we continue ? rgds jan i -- Lewis -- Lewis --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
