I did some investigations: 1. Doxia Sink API just tells "date" [1] without any hint on which one 2. APT does the same [2] 3. xdoc in its xsd [3] says "Optional creation/last updated date for the document element": hehe, do what you want :) 4. Doxia Sitetools SiteRenderer [4] says "dateCreation The date specified in the source document, in the format "yyyyMMdd"" IMHO, there is an issue: the most clear definition is in SiteRenderer, with the variable named "dateCreation" But it is against our current use, which is more "last modified" Should we rename the variable in SiteRenderer to "lastModifiedDate" (and update Sink API and every other place)? notice: this date is not really visible in rendered documents, nor is it available in reports for example.
