It's a bug in the 'findbugs-maven-plugin' already fixed upstream but not released yet. You just need to build a recent https://github.com/gleclaire/findbugs-maven-plugin SNAPSHOT and verify that the SNAPSHOT version of the plugin will work with 3.4-SNAPSHOT. Maybe ask upstream for a release of this as others have done. This issue is popping up every now and then here and we just need a findbugs-maven-plugin release.
